ABOUT THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a dynamic Manager, Clinical Services (Care Coordination Manager) to join our team at our office in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Care Coordination Manager will be responsible for supporting the Director, Clinical/Quality, in the operations of the Empower Care Coordination Program, which primarily includes assessment and care coordination processes utilizing a person centered care plan model to improve health care outcomes. Care coordination is provided in the community and telephonically.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Assists the Director in day-to-day management of clinical operations and clinical client relationship, including evaluation of current priorities, allocation of resources to support daily and strategic objectives, and communication of client expectations to the account management and operations teams.
  • Assists the Director in maintaining efficient operation of the Clinical Program, including implementation and ongoing oversight.
  • Enhances and develops clinical delivery systems as assigned.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operating policies, procedures, and performance standards, as assigned.
  • Oversees management of Quality initiatives.
  • Responsible for performance improvement activities, and analyzing and presenting results.
  • Attends Quality meetings where current quality activities including outcomes are discussed or presented.
  • Collaborate with other departmental leads to support adherence to standards and practices.
  • Support completion and delivery of all program specific reports and documentation; develop and implement procedures for reporting and delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of new Policies and Procedures or the revision of existing P&Ps as directed.
  • Collaborate with the Beacon Clinical/Quality leadership team to oversee key departmental activities and to further departmental goals.
  • Conduct analyses of current processes and development of new or revised Work Flow documents for quality programs to improve efficiency, accuracy and compliance.

Position Requirements:

Education: Master's Degree or PhD in a Mental Health or related discipline

Licensure: A current unrestricted Arkansas license for independent practice in counseling, family therapy, social work, or psychology; or, related field.

Relevant Work Experience: Three to five years' experience in health care operations, clinical management and/or health care data analysis.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health, healthcare, managed care or public health (e.g. Medicaid or Medicare).
  • Proven ability to manage a clinical program through financial and clinical data analytics and trend analysis
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and supervisory experience, including the ability to deliver outstanding team performance metrics
  • Outstanding customer relations skills with demonstrated accomplishments working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines for deliverables
  • Knowledge of quality management/improvement principles
  • Knowledge and demonstrated skills in excel
