Internship Project Overview:



The scope of the internship project for the Software Engineering team will involve partnering with SWE team members and working cross functionally with the hardware and data and analytics team to develop innovative solutions. During your internship, you’ll have exposure working with the latest technologies like AngularJS, Nancy, Redis, etc. to enable our customers to access our solutions on a wide-range of devices.



Key Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Join one of our full system agile teams and build software products & services with experienced engineers, solve real-world customer problems, product enhancements, bug fixes, etc.
  • Participate full lifecycle software projects, contributing to design, development, and configuration aspects of the process
  • Challenge yourself to learn new technologies, coding techniques, system scaling, optimization, etc.
  • Additional duties as assigned


Desired Experience & Qualifications:


  • Currently enrolled in a Development Boot Camp or an accredited University - Junior year Comp Sci students preferred!
  • Already located in San Diego for the 2018 summer
  • Available to work 40 hours/week for a 10 week period over the 2018 summer
  • Experience with modern Web/SaaS technologies/frameworks (Javascript, Python, Angular, Ruby, Node, etc)
  • Experience with an Object-oriented programming language like C++, C#, or Java
  • Experience with one or more database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB,etc
  • Part of the application process will include taking the HackerRank coding challenge
