Job Description

The focus area of this position is systems administration for Linux & Windows based systems, Imagery Processing, internal virtual infrastructure, and product deployments at customer field sites. The candidate will perform mission assurance analysis to understand complex and emergent behavior or systems that interact with the operational user; identify integration issues that can have a direct effect on the operational user; help with the analysis of architecture approaches and alternatives. The candidate must have strong troubleshooting skills, along with the ability to work in a highly flexible and professional government environment. The candidate will perform system-capacity analysis and planning, and optimizes system performance and resource utilization. The candidate will be expected to provide system installations, system configuration and modifications, to include system backups and restoration, user configurations, system privilege controls, role and users definitions, dynamic upgrade and substitutions of components (memory, disk space, etc.). The candidate will ensure computer systems resources are used in an efficient and effective manner. May evaluate and recommend products to support validated user requirements. Coordinates the resolution of production-related problems. Operates under close to moderate supervision. The candidate will translate user requirements into system and operational architectures/requirements. The candidate will create, analyze, and maintain architecture products in accordance with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF). The candidate will perform systems engineering in support of analyzing, defining, designing, integrating, and testing of system of systems.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Normal office setting, therefore the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. Use of hands to operate computer equipment. Frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.

Required Skills

Bachelor's in technology related discipline. Relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
• Experience in operational and system requirements analysis and development
• Experience in enterprise architecture analysis and development
• Experience in system administration of Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
• Experience with a wide variety of open source, service-oriented, enterprise frameworks and utilities
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework software development methodology
• U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance
• Must be a US Citizen

Desired Skills

• Familiar with IC/DoD systems in the Event Reporting and Intelligence Analysis domains: CIDNE, INDURE, WebTAS, Mission Command systems
