Responsibilities:

 

Under the direction of the Campus Associate Dean, the Campus Operations Manager provides management of the Charlotte campus to include all facility operations: room scheduling and events management, lead with property management for all work orders, HVAC and access, technology liaison, services and vendor management, contract management, procurement, risk management, health/safety & security, building renovations and management of facility needs.

 

The Campus Operations Manager ensures the campus operations and services supports the needs of all faculty, staff and students and schedules services to deliver exceptional experiences. Position supervises campus assistants and schedules to ensure reception coverage, and evening and weekend coverage is adequate to support class and event needs.

 

The Campus Operations Manager manages the local technology infrastructure to ensure seamless delivery of academic and administrative systems in Charlotte. Liaising with local consultants and Boston-based information systems staff, this position will liaise and coordinate technology upgrades, new technology implementations, etc., with the Boston-based staff.

 

This position requires sound judgment and ability to initiate work on behalf of the campus and leadership.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience, including campus or facility administration, business operations, technology, project management and customer relations. Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple projects simultaneously. High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism required. The incumbent must be able to work as part of a team, analyze and develop solutions to complex issues, have the ability to develop productive and respectful interpersonal relationships, demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, be highly organized and detail oriented, be committed to excellence in customer service, and have the ability to handle multiple competing priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and Higher Education experience a plus.
