CME Program Specialist

This position is responsible for successful integration of program and product development for Maternity Care programs and products by working closely with staff across the organization and faculty to build consensus and help unify objectives among multiple stakeholders. Will ensure that deliverables are on time and within budget according to stated requirements and quality measures. Position will manage and distribute revisions, including chapters, video, and course materials. In addition, this position will be responsible for formatting, light editing, and proofreading course materials as requested. Approximately 10 days travel per year.

Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree or through equivalent work experience, plus at least four years related experience. Strong computer skills are essential, including Word, Power Point, and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, highly organized, attentive to detail, and the ability to work on several projects simultaneously required. Ability to develop presentation materials and present to various audiences. Highest standards of professionalism and personal excellence, including positive attitude, spirit of teamwork, direct resolution of conflicts, and commitment to outstanding results essential. The ability to understand and apply Continuing Nurse Education Requirements, and knowledge of AAFP CME policies and guidelines, as well as ACCME criteria and standards for commercial support a plus. Previous experience with publishing industry; knowledge of editorial standards, standard proofreader’s marks, and medical terminology preferred. Physical ability to travel necessary.
