OverviewThe purpose of this position is to develop and implement facility maintenance procedures in a efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
ResponsibilitiesAuthority is delegated to the individual in this position to develop and implement maintenance procedures to meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. Determine the personnel requirements for the maintenance department and make recommendations for sufficient staff to implement maintenance policies and procedures. Develop and implement a monitoring system for the maintenance department and make recommendations for implementation to assure compliance with federal, state and local requirements. Supervision of the entire maintenance, housekeeping and laundry departments. Regulatory supervision of all federal, state and local requirements of the laundry and housekeeping department.
QualificationsPrior supervisiory experience is prefered. Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus. This position reports directly to the Administrator.
