Lytx is seeking a qualified Staff Accountant who will work with the Cost Accounting Team to close the accounting period on a monthly basis, reconcile accounts and perform variance analysis.


The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with knowledge in multiple accounting areas, process and system improvement experience, be adaptive to a continuously evolving work environment, and have a desire to become a part of a growing, world-class organization.



Key Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Maintain our fixed asset repair center accounts.
  • Perform monthly accruals.
  • Assist with financial close activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement flux variance analyses for management reporting.
  • Assist in the development of process documentation.
  • Assist in identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities to include but not limited to close processes
  • Support of year-end audit through preparation of supplemental schedules, roll forwards and reconciliations.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.


Education, Experience & Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and strong Excel skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, knows how to multi-task, detail oriented, strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and often ambiguous work environment.
  • Collaborates effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA license is a plus
  • 1-3+ years of accounting experience
  • Public company accounting experience is preferred
