Team Leader oversees the daily operations of the Production Technician Group to ensure proper supply of synthesis columns and restocking of items necessary for use within IDT's production labs.


Essential Functions:
  • Organizes and prioritizes workflow within the group and communicates with staff to ensure that deadlines are being met.
  • Assists in hiring process and trains staff on current procedures and protocols; communicates staff issues or progress to upper management when necessary.
  • Assists management with writing performance evaluations and determining goals for Production and Manufacturing Technicians.
  • Prepares materials according to documented procedures and determines the appropriate amount of materials required for the process.
  • Analyzes data and decides appropriate action based on results.
  • Demonstrates and upholds behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values and delivers the Integrated DNA Technologies experience to customers and other business associates.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Associate's degree plus 2 years of manufacturing experience required.

Professional Experience:
  • Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • Prior experience directing a small group within a manufacturing environment preferred.
