Job Description:POSITION SUMMARY:The School of Human Development &amp; Education (SHDE) Administrative Faculty Fieldwork Coordinator is a full-time administrative faculty member serving to coordinate the fieldwork portion of the intern, student teaching and residency programs. The Administrative Faculty Fieldwork Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination and monitoring of student fieldwork and clinical practice experiences in collaboration with the Credential Analyst and SHDE Faculty, fieldwork supervisors, and in compliance with the standards of CCTC accreditation. Program faculty work with a diverse and engaged community of students, faculty and staff in the preparation of students for entry-level practice in health service psychology. The person who fills this position will teach courses that help students understand the foundational science that underlies clinical practice, and research methods and data analytic strategies used to gain that knowledge. Over the course of the three-semester academic year, Program faculty members may be responsible for teaching, student advisement, chairing dissertations, professional service to the School and community, administration, and optional research/scholarship. While program faculty members are fundamentally responsible for teaching in accordance with TCS's workload policy, adjustments to an individual's teaching load may be made by the Department Chair based on program needs first and individual talents and abilities second.
