Job Summary
The College of Education seeks an Assistant Director of Academic Advising to provide leadership within the Undergraduate Student Success Team. This role will focus on advising Kinesiology & Health Promotion and Sport Leadership majors while supporting the Director of Advising in overseeing strategic initiatives that enhance student success.
The ideal candidate will mentor students throughout their undergraduate journey, from enrollment through graduation, fostering a supportive and personalized advising experience. Additionally, the Assistant Director will play a key role in the recruitment, retention, and progression of a diverse, high-quality student body.
This leadership position involves daily communication with students, parents, faculty, and external partners, while collaborating closely with the Director of Advising to implement technology-driven strategies that improve retention and program completion.
