Job Responsibilities
Purpose of the Position: Under general supervision, performs a wide range of office administration duties assigned functions or program area, duties may be complex in nature and involve access to confidential information. Conducts research to compile information needed to generate reports, complete projects and accurately respond to questions and concerns. Analyzes problems, questions, issues, etc. and develops reports recommendations and resolving them. Provides administrative assistance to CMS program. Includes but not limited to providing assistance to CYSN department and other duties as assigned. This position works to promote and protect the health and safety of the residents of Cobb & Douglas counties.
Essential Functions (include, but are not limited to):
- Provides administrative support to assigned area
- Provides assistance and problem resolution to claimants, employers, staff, other agencies, staff
- Provides program, administrative, and/or technical assistance and interpretation researches and resolves detailed program or client issues/questions and prepares documents
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED and three (3) years of job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Admin Assistant 1 (GST050) or position equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Medicaid, Access CHOA, ICS-10 codes, Bi-lingual, Excel and Work proficient.
Work Conditions & Physical Demands: General office environment. Light lifting.
Salary Information: $39,714.14 Annually / Pay grade G
