Job Description:
Under direct supervision, works and communicates with the public, internal and/or external customers information and services. Essential functions include, but not limited to; prepares and process birth and death certificate as requested, in compliance with State and County regulations and procedures; collects a fee from customers; handles the filing of paternity acknowledgements, legitimations and home births; answers customer questions and inquiries; and provides timely, accurate and courteous customer service.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in Vital Records. Knowledge of the Georgia Vital Events Registration System (GAVRS) is preferred.
- Must be able to work in high volume and stressful environment
- Experience processing high volume customer requests and fees
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of general office or administrative experience with Vital Records
