As the Administrative Assistant, you will work on-site in our downtown Glendale office and support many different tasks that directly contribute to the practice's overall success. You will ensure the Advisor has the assurance they need to know that their office practice is being maintained and supported within Ameriprise Financial guidelines as well as those outlined by the Advisor.

To thrive, you should have:

  • 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience; commitment to lifelong learning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to compose professional correspondence and respond effectively to inquiries.
  • Solid skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe, and other software tools; adeptly switching between multiple programs.
  • Ability to navigate the Ameriprise Financial website and guide clients through it.
  • High integrity, honesty, and discretion, with excellent interpersonal skills and empathy.

Your responsibilities as the Administrative Assistant will include:

  • Client Scheduling & Communication: Schedule clients for multiple Advisors, follow up on outstanding forms, and manage the Advisors’ phone lines and inboxes.
  • Client Service & Record Maintenance: Assist in basic client service, process digital client files, and update client data as instructed by Advisors.
  • Work Organization & Compliance: Plan and prioritize your work schedule, maintain up-to-date methods and procedures and ensure compliance using appropriate time management tools.
