Physical Requirements

The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motion (such as typing); walking including pushing, pulling, and/or lifting up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs.



Shift

Mostly day shift. Monday through Friday. Other shifts and overtime as needed.



Job Summary

The Department of Anesthesiology seeks an individual to take on responsibility for Administrative Support for the Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology as well as provide direct management of the faculty administrative support staff.

Responsibilities will include budgeted expense oversight, faculty recruitment, assistance with scheduling, correspondence, manuscript preparation, poster creation, and file maintenance. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and organizational skills and exhibit exceptional attention to detail.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Technical skills in Microsoft Office. Interpersonal skills in persuasion, objection-handling, and excellence in customer service.
