Location: Whitfield County Health Dept. (Women's Clinic) in Dalton, Ga.

Job Responsibilities

Under supervision of a Senior APRN, performs advanced nursing functions and healthcare services in Women's Health areas. Operates under a written nurse protocol agreement with the delegating physician, conducts physicals, provides treatment and counsels clients. May prescribe medication in some cases.  

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing AND certification in the specialty area(s) approved by Georgia Board of Nursing AND Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND Georgia license as an APRN AND CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical Office Experience 
  • Computer Experience 
  • Public Health Nursing Experience

Health-Related positions involving direct contact with or exposure to airborne or blood-borne pathogens. Some positions may involve moderate to heavy physical activity.  Environmental factors including hazardous chemicals radiation or airborne pathogens.
