POSITION SUMMARY
An Assembler III works in a production manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include using industrial machines to manufacture product, count, pack, and palletize product.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
- Set up, run/operate, troubleshoot slitter for all vinyl products Vinyl/EGC
- Velcro machine EGC
- Side sealer - all steps EGC
- Running the Heidelberg's (corners process & stamping of writing pkg) Vinyl/Writing
- Carousel - Step 2 (large corner/bottom sheet) on carousel Vinyl
- Carousel 4 - Machine Vinyl
- Running Paper cutter / guillotine Paperbased
- Running Kluges Paperbased
- Running Inkers Writing
- Single needle - person is dictating sewing - straight seam Sewing
- Double needle - person is dictating sewing Sewing
- Serger Sewing
- Cutting Lamination/webbing Sewing
- Gerber Cutting - after set-up Sewing
- Spreading Material Sewing
- Place Lamination Sewing
- Automatic 2 (Critical) – multi-part piece sewing – back of etool
or like item Sewing - Cover stitch Sewing
- Bar Tack (Critical) – multi-part piece Sewing
- Work under general supervision
- Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Experience: Previous work experience required, exposure to manufacturing environment preferred
Knowledge/Skills:
- Basic math skills.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and management.
- Possess a positive work attitude and a willingness to carry out instructions.
- Ability to express and share knowledge and ideas in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task.
