The Colleague Experience Group (CEG), formerly known as Human Resources, at American Express seeks to provide a great colleague experience every day. The Global Talent Acquisition function is going through a strategic recruitment transformation, deploying robotics & process automation tools and modernizing recruitment infrastructure to focus on business talent priorities and improve end-to-end process experience.

Global Talent Acquisition is looking for an Associate Talent Acquisition Partner (ATAP) to join our team and support our Corporate and Business Functions.  The ATAP will be responsible for candidate sourcing, screening and providing Talent Acquisition administrative support. In this role, you will source, screen, assess, interview top quality candidates with the greatest speed. You will be a talent champion who can actively stay connected to an active pipeline of candidates, maintain long-term candidate relationships and energetically sell the role and the American Express brand.  

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Proactively support broader recruitment strategy to help ensure delivery of qualified and diverse talent 
  • Lead screening, assessment and disposition process activities while ensuring outstanding candidate experience 
  • Work with Recruitment Leads, Recruitment Managers and Hiring Managers to understand the business, meet hiring volumes and headcount goals, gathers key input for candidate slates and provide feedback on candidates and influences hiring decisions 
  • Communicate proactively and in a timely manner with candidates, providing details on the selection process and Hiring Leader feedback 
  • Use market intelligence and industry trends to develop, execute and assess online candidate search campaigns using a variety of internet search engines as a delivery vehicle to identify relevant prospects and produce quality candidates 
  • Help ensure company follows laws and regulations as it relates to online sourcing, recruiting and hiring practices 
  • Report on effective recruiting trends and make recommendations based on recruiting data
  • Provide support for ad hoc reporting requests as needed 

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of corporate recruiting or agency related experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to build positive relationships and collaborate with hiring leaders, candidates and colleagues in an engaging and persuasive manner 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Global Talent Acquisition experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience 
  • Experience with recruitment tools, technologies, and platforms such as Taleo, Eightfold, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and/or others
  • Experience working in a compliance driven organization 

Salary Range: $20.00 to $33.65 hourly + bonus + benefits
