Lochmueller Group is seeking an experienced and energetic Civil Engineer to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for performing utility coordination, design, and permitting tasks for various infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities of this role will include:
- Supporting project managers in the planning and execution of engineering projects.
- Conducting engineering analysis and design for assigned projects.
- Executing utility coordination and design for infrastructure projects.
- Participating in the permitting process and assisting with permit applications.
- Coordinating with utility providers and agencies to ensure the integration of utility design into project plans.
- Preparing and reviewing utility design plans, specifications, and technical reports.
- Designing complete projects, or components of projects.
- Preparing and reviewing project documents, reports, and specifications.
- Applying engineering techniques, methods, and design criteria to support project execution.
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- May perform other duties associated with this role.
Qualifications for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering design for transportation, water resources, or other relevant projects.
- Utility coordination and permitting experience is helpful.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
