Come work as a Registered Nurse in this unique position in the Adult Community Clinical Service (ACCS) program. As the nurse you will work directly with clients that live in residential group homes as well as clients who reside independently in the community. The RN is responsible for conducting health assessments, assessing health needs, making appropriate referrals to providers, building and maintaining relationships with health service providers in the community to ensure comprehensive continuity of care for clients, and providing ongoing education and support related to client’s medical needs. The Registered nurse will act as a MAP consultant for The Medication Administration Program. The Registered Nurse is responsible for monitoring MAP programs, providing support and trainings to staff.

This is a Monday-Friday day position with on call rotation required for phone consultation. Valid driver’s license needed and access to personal vehicle for client transportation. This is about 75% community based work.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in recovery based services preferred.    
  • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
  • Access to a personal vehicle for potential client transportation

Required Experience

  • Current valid MA Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Diploma/Associates/or Bachelors degree).
  • Minimum of four years of experience working with individuals with mental illness.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in interdisciplinary collaboration.
