Lochmueller Group is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing firm with an excellent workplace culture. In this role, you will ensure project compliance with design plans, specifications, and safety standards. Your role will also involve inspecting on-site work, materials and equipment, documenting progress, and reporting any issues to the project supervisor. This position is key to maintaining quality control and ensuring safe and successful project completion.

Responsibilities of this role will include:
- Working closely with contractors, consultants, and owners in monitoring of all phases of construction.
- Establishing a working relationship with project owners and keeping them informed of all significant project issues.
- Inspecting construction work on a variety of infrastructure projects for conformity to construction standards.
- Verify and evaluate material testing results versus the project specifications
- Performing level circuits for as-built plans, settlement monitoring, and verification of planned elevations.
- Computing cross sections of construction sites.
- Performing quantity calculations and record keeping duties.
- Reading and interprets schematics and construction plans.
- Collecting, coding, analyzing, and maintaining a variety of test data and inspection records.
- Performing other duties when needed.
Qualifications for this role:
- Associate's or bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering is helpful, but not required.
- 4+ years of relevant construction inspection experience with a working knowledge of railroad construction is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of state and federal regulations and specification requirements with a strong knowledge of inspection and elated construction practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Valid drivers license and ability to pass the Federal Everifile.com background check process.
- Ability to take and pass contractororientation.com rules qualification testing.
