As an intern in our Creative Design Department, you will be given specific projects to complete throughout the summer within your department and the results of your projects will have a direct impact on our company. Here’s a sample of some of the recent projects our interns have worked on:
- Design digital assets across email, web, and social media
- Layout art and copy for catalog pages
- Provide support for special projects in retail signage and packaging
- Collaborate with photography studio on image execution
- Participate in cross-department intern project
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend relevant meetings that will drive work
- Work with various cross-functional partners on key projects
- Systems work to support Product Development functions
Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university degree program; Strong preference will be given to rising Juniors, Seniors, and graduating Seniors
- Experience with the Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office highly desired
- Passion for retail combined with a strong desire to represent the L.L.Bean brand
- Strong analytical, research, and demonstrated leadership skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work where needed during the internship experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing data and presenting findings, Excel and PowerPoint
- Curiosity, grit and a growth mindset
