Become a Cybersecurity Advisor with a focus on the ServiceNow platform at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll partner with various teams within SCE and play a pivotal role in the design, development, and transformation of ServiceNow and supporting modules. This position combines a combination of deep technical understanding of the ServiceNow platform, technical leadership, and service management capabilities.

- Responsible for the architecture, design, development, implementation, improvements, and cross-platform integration solutions.
- Partner with stakeholders throughout the lifecycle from inception to steady state.
- Develop, maintain, and socialize strategic direction of the platform.
- Provide consultative leadership.
- Develop, design, and maintain the data model, data structures, and standards.
- Evaluates new features in the platform with ServiceNow releases and the suitability/applicability in the current environment.
- Recognize improvement opportunities in technology, workflow, and process by crafting roadmaps for improvement, value on investment, and quantify success.
- Influence and positively impact productivity, efficiency, and improve organization’s reputation among partners aligned the SCE core values.
The essentials
- Seven (7) or more years of experience as a developer, engineer, and/or architect.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in workflow automation and process automation.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in service and/or program management.
- Three (3) or more years of experience as a ServiceNow developer, engineer, and/or architect.
The preferred
- Has deep technical abilities, a sound understanding of business strategy, policies that govern, and possesses sophisticated ServiceNow knowledge and skill.
- Possesses deep understanding of, and experience with, ServiceNow’s Security Operations Module.
- Experience working with Cybersecurity practitioners to address problems in a sophisticated environment.
- In-depth understanding of ServiceNow development best practices and trends.
- Work towards results using out-of-the-box innovative thinking together with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience communicating architecture concepts, designs, and goals to technology leaders and partners.

- ITIL Foundations Certification
- ITIL Advanced Certifications

- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

- The primary work location for this position is Rosemead, CA. However, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at (alternate work location).
- This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
- US Citizenship required as part of Critical Infrastructure security protocols.
