JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Dayforce Product Owner within HR Applications will provide ownership and ongoing support for Greystar’s instance of Dayforce, the system utilized for Timesheets, Time Away from Work, Payroll, Benefits and Payroll funding. Will also support additional implementation of Dayforce in Europe and APAC regions as planned. Must understand core system functions, the overall system and data architecture and the Dayforce support model. Ongoing support includes documenting operational processes, system administration, configuration and helping Greystar HR, Payroll and Accounting teams team trouble shoot issues as needed. Additionally, this role will support projects and initiatives that enhance overall business operations and payroll reporting, The ideal candidate should have prior Dayforce experience and best-in-class collaboration and written/verbal communication skills. Preferred experience with both Dayforce and Workday, but not required. Familiarity with Jira is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Product Roadmap Development and Maintenance – Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT Leaders, Dayforce and end user users to develop and maintenance product roadmap including any new product releases
  • Ensure alignment of features and functions within Dayforce to overall goals of Greystar and key stakeholders
  • Workflow and system modification configuration
  • Support Dayforce security authorization matrix
  • Maintain Dayforce HUBs - changes, updates, etc.
  • Identify user needs and ensure product meets customer expectations in conjunction with the vendor
  • Prioritize and schedule releases working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Engage in documenting, tracking and prioritizing changes need to support additional implementations
  • Understand and support Dayforce solution architecture (data and integrations)
  • Partner with the business during critical testing cycles/UAT
  • Participate in cutover activities and work with business to ensure go-live readiness, when necessary
  • Refine, document and own standard operating procedures for the Dayforce instance at Greystar
  • Become the techno-functional resource SME for all things Dayforce at Greystar
  • Own general Dayforce administrator responsibilities such as security etc.
  • Track and own product backlog and production support ticket requests submitted to Dayforce
  • Engage in testing and troubleshooting for product roll out to additional countries
  • Coordinate issue resolution and/or product changes with Dayforce Managed Services

BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Management Information Systems, HR or related field, and/or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
  • Superior Communication Skills
  • Requires at least 2 years of Dayforce configuration and support experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of solution architecture concepts and principles
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technology into business terms and to influence outcomes with key stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to parties from various levels and backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking skills.

Additional Compensation:

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
