THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal Practice Leader (PL) will possess a combination of strong consultative, business growth and people leadership skills, including:
- Understands the health care industry and workforce strategies.
- Translates insights about the market into a vision and strategy for the Practice.
- Establishes, prioritizes, and executes practice operating plans.
- Possesses the business acumen necessary to lead a high-performing consulting practice.
- Highly effective leader of people who builds and fosters a collaborative and high-performing culture, supports team member growth and development, and communicates clear performance expectations.
- Represents the Practice in the marketplace and secures business across all service offerings.
- Cultivates and grows a significant portfolio of clients.
- Establishes trusting relationships with other Practices within the Firm.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The primary accountabilities of the PL will include:
- Develop the vision for the practice and engage team members to embrace it.
- Create a practice culture that assures the engagement, development, and retention of team members.
- Develop innovative services and solutions that are timely, add value to clients and are commercially viable.
- Develop and execute marketing plans and go-to-market approaches for all solutions (with support from Firm marketing resources).
- Meet revenue and direct margin targets per the Practice's budget.
- Determine the appropriate practice structure and staffing levels.
- Establish clear performance goals and behavioral expectations for each team member and hold them accountable accordingly.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 15+ years of progressive consulting or corporate leadership experience in the human capital and/or compensation disciplines.
- Consulting or corporate experience in the health care industry.
- Role model for effective people management and development.
- Extensive experience with developing new business and creating long-term client relationships.
- Proven track record of managing large and complex client engagements involving multiple workstreams on time and within budget.
- High degree of emotional intelligence and integrity.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required with a master’s degree preferred.

Reflected below is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to academic achievements, skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
- $275,200 - $412,800 annually
