Job Summary
The Faculty Resource Consultant will support the Office of Faculty Affairs and Advancement (FA&A) within the College of Education. Primary responsibilities include managing daily office operations, coordinating faculty hiring procedures, and other administrative duties related to faculty affairs. The assistant will act as a liaison between the Associate Dean, the Business Center, and faculty search committees, ensuring smooth communication and process flow. They will also oversee the accurate entry of faculty job postings and approvals in the Integrated Employment System (IES), monitor applications, and manage various faculty-related records such as sabbatical leave requests, and departmental space usage. Additional duties involve updating the faculty database, supporting procurement and travel arrangements, and coordinating training and development sessions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the advancement of faculty and administrative processes while fostering a collaborative and efficient office environment.

Preferred Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Related experience with the faculty hiring process, UK financial procedures, and training and development.
