Job Description

Field Service Representative - Dispatchable FSR
As a Field Service Representative, you'll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for customers in a variety of locations.

This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, Membrane BioReactor and ultrafiltration (UF) - in both pure water and wastewater applications. What you will do:
• Operate, monitor, and optimize a variety of water treatment equipment
• Bridge and LTSA installation and start up as needed (heavy mechanical labor at times)
• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
• Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
• Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Create and maintain site paperwork, weekly, monthly reports and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
• Develop site specific procedures applicable to the operation one of our pure water and
wastewater equipment at a variety of customer sites including refining, nuclear, and beverage accounts
• Consult with customer management and operation teams
• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
• On call support as needed for ongoing site operations
• Strong performance around Environmental, Health and Safety a must
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

About You:

This is a service role and you'll bring your positive attitude to work with you every day because making other people happy makes you happy. To be successful in this role you should have the following:

• High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent and 2+years' experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
• A minimum of 2 years experience in industrial water treatment related to MMF, RO, UF minor chemical injection systems desired
• Working experience with chemical injection systems and troubleshooting is preferred
• Experience in hands on mechanical and minor electrical work
• Previous experience developing and maintaining site safety management systems(EHS
compliance)
• Previous experience with the operation and maintenance of analytical instrumentation used for quality assurance on water treatment equipment
Ability to travel throughout the territory as needed(up to 75% travel) must reside in southern CA. Travel in western US, depending on job, may be gone a few weeks at a time.
• Ability to gain and maintain access to sites as assigned including refineries/Nuclear unescorted access
• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record per Fleet department guidelines

• Ability to pass background check, drug and alcohol test and obtain a TWIC card
