LOCATION: Rotating Health Centers- North / T.O. Vinson / Clifton Springs
DIVISION/DEPARTMENT: Community Health / HAP Oral
SALARY INFORMATION:$85.00 Hourly / Pay Grade Q / Job Code HCP131

Job Responsibilities

Under general supervision, diagnosis, treats, prevents, and controls disorders of the teeth and mouth including gums and related oral structures of patients. Performs diagnostic services to include but not limited to exams and X-Rays; treatment such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, crowns, etc. May treat diseases of nerve, pulp and other dental tissues affecting vitality of teeth. Emphasizes prevention and early detection of oral diseases by teaching patients the importance of proper oral care at home and periodic visits to the dentist. May evaluate dental health needs of public health clients and recommend program improvements. Provide assessment, treatment and management of dental problems associated with Ryan White patient population. Participates in research activities related to dental issues of high risks populations. Assist with grant activities as assigned by the Oral Health Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate or professional degree in dentistry from an accredited College or University AND One year of experience AND current Georgia license to practice dentistry.
