Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This position plays a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and engagement initiatives. The HR Generalist collaborates closely with the HR Business Partner and other team members to foster a positive and legally compliant workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Lead recruitment efforts for various positions, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and coordinating the hiring process.
- Onboarding: Ensure a seamless onboarding experience by coordinating orientation, completing necessary documentation, and facilitating training for new hires.
- Talent Outreach & Recruitment Events: Represent Lindsay at job fairs, campus recruitment events, and open houses to attract top talent and strengthen our employer brand.
- Data & System Management: Accurately manage candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), track recruitment metrics, and maintain employee records.
- Employer Branding: Enhance Lindsay’s reputation as an employer of choice through candidate engagement and participation in employer branding activities.
- Employee Engagement: Act as a primary contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, fostering positive and constructive employee interactions.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, wellness initiatives, FMLA, referral bonuses, and other employee perks.
- HR Projects & Initiatives: Participate in HR projects, including engagement programs, employee events, and process improvement initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred).
- Experience:
- 2+ years in HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (SuccessFactors experience a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or related industry is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and positively influence hiring outcomes.
- Skilled in candidate sourcing through social media, job boards, and other recruitment channels.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and time management.
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and legal regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA).
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Language: Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily an office setting with regular interaction on the production floor.
- Occasional travel to recruitment events and the corporate office in Omaha.
