Job Description
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on production machinery and equipment. This includes installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical and electronic systems. The Technician will ensure that maintenance work aligns with safety protocols and maintains a clean, efficient work environment.
Pay Rate: Starting at $25.27 an hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
- Install, commission, maintain, diagnose, and repair a variety of production machinery and equipment, including electric and electronic systems.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on various equipment, including PLC-related issues.
- Conduct mechanical troubleshooting on conveyor systems, labeling machines, packaging machines, palletizers, and vision systems.
- Utilize hydraulic systems knowledge to maintain and repair machinery.
- Maintain safe, clean, and efficient work and storage areas throughout maintenance activities.
- Utilize PC skills to manage work orders, perform preventive maintenance tasks, and maintain accurate records.
- Respond to emergency calls and be flexible with shift changes and overtime as required.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in a relevant field OR high school diploma with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Practical experience in power and control systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, CNC controls).
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
- Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and facility drawings.
- Proficiency with manual and power hand tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.
- Intermediate-level experience with conveyor systems, labeling equipment, packaging machines, and palletizers.
- Basic to intermediate PC skills for reporting activities and managing work orders.

- Work Hours: Our maintenance team operates across two primary shifts to support operational needs and customer volume demands. Overtime on Saturdays is common to meet increased volume or specific customer requirements. Flexibility within these shifts is crucial, as coverage may adjust to start earlier or end later to accommodate projects, tasks, emergencies, or demand surges. This adaptability ensures minimal downtime and continuous support for production and customer satisfaction. Shift times are:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday
