The IT Operations Manager is responsible for leading the operations and maintenance (O&M) activities for a portfolio of applications that are built on Microsoft Cloud technologies. They will manage a team of 10 or more resources that provide ongoing enhancement to existing applications, provide user support, and address production incidents related to the Microsoft platform and related applications. Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the client's IT applications, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for applications, including deploying fixes and enhancements.
- Respond to and resolve IT incidents and service requests.
- Monitor the performance of client applications and implement improvements to enhance reliability.
- Manage an O&M development team building application enhancements following Agile methods.
Projected compensation range for this position is $150K - $170K. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal pay equity, location, contract-specific affordability and other organizational requirements.
Required Skills- At least 10 years of experience supporting and leading the O&M of IT applications for large organizations
- Strong experience applying Agile methods to manage O&M activities
- Led teams of 10+ resources in the O&M of mission critical client applications
- Experience leading O&M for clients, preferrably federal government clients, in a consulting role
- Experience working with Microsoft Cloud technologies
- Experience leading Agile development teams
- Must be a US Citizen
