Salary Range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000. Salary Range is based on Experience and Education levels.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF SNOC Cloud Engineer II,

The primary responsibilities of this role involve providing Azure support and managing the cloud environment, as well as offering SNOC and Technical Analyst support. Specific duties related to Cloud/Azure include Azure design, support, and governance. In terms of SNOC responsibilities, the role encompasses offboarding, managing the SNOC queue, and providing networking support.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Requirements
  • 3 years of hands-on Azure experience or 2 years of hands-on Azure experience with a formal Azure certification required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted.
  • Proven experience as an Azure Engineer with a strong understanding of Azure services, solutions, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in deploying and managing Azure resources using Azure Portal, Azure CLI, and PowerShell.
  • Experience with Azure networking, virtual machines, storage solutions, and identity management.
  • Familiarity with Azure security features, compliance standards, and data protection mechanisms.
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in an Azure environment is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-304, etc.) would be advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team and with clients.
  • Experience in administering, monitoring, and performance-tuning Linux systems
  • Proficiency deploying Docker containerized applications and familiarity with Docker logging
  • Understanding of best practices for Azure-based storage solutions like Azure Files, Blob Storage, and Azure Data Lake
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies
  • Actively display characteristics that support the mission, vision, and values of Castle Biosciences.
• Preferred Requirements
  • Experience administering Kubernetes is a plus

SCHEDULE

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexible work schedule options available. This is a salaried position, and working beyond standard hours may be required.
• After the first 90 days, a hybrid work schedule may be considered based on performance and progress.
