Shift

Monday-Friday; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; and occasional evenings and weekends.



Job Summary

This position is to specifically manage a research lab, recently relocated to UK from another university. The lab is midsize (4-6 members) and the major responsibility will be to manage the lab purchases, procurement of goods, general lab maintenance. In addition, there will be opportunities to be involved in research with a skilled member in the lab. Training will be provided as needed. The lab is run by NIH-funded grants and the major goal of the lab is to continue to secure funding, and based on research requirements, the job may change, from purchasing to research, so flexibility would be required. Since this is a new lab at UK, there is active general lab maintenance and procurement ongoing.
