Product Management and Lending organization is focused on developing innovative products and evolving the portfolio in a way that transforms how American Express meets Cardmember borrowing needs in a constantly evolving landscape. Pay Over Time team within PML leads offering our Charge Cardmembers enhanced payment flexibility and fulfill our Cardmembers borrowing needs.This Manager will play an integral role in this payment flexibility journey, helping to grow our share of lend & drive engagement through strategic analytics and portfolio monitoring.Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analyses to identify growth opportunities using internal and external information
  • Develop and lead effective portfolio monitoring tools and share key insights and trends with leadership and partners
  • Understand economics and track performance for lending growth levers such as POT limit, pricing offers, MR offers
  • Develop portfolio growth decomposition framework and supervise performance against financial plan
  • Collaborate with key partners including Risk, Pricing, Finance, Premium Products and Marketing

Minimum Qualifications:

Customer Centric: You strive to understand CM behavior and constantly put yourself in CMs’ mindset

Strategic: You are intellectually curious and have outstanding problem-solving skills to use your understanding of customer engagement, marketing KPIs, lending economics to help unlock value

Innovative and Creative: You are not afraid to test and apply new knowledge and experiences to address evolving CM borrowing needs in innovative and creative ways

Collaborative: You are known for your thought-leadership with the ability to engage, influence, and encourage cross-functional partners to drive collaboration and develop shared vision

Methodical: You are a strong project manager with a keen attention to details and excellent organization skills who knows when/where/how to prioritize optimally and courageously

Technical: Prior knowledge of SQL/HIVE and/or Python is preferred

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
