Physical Requirements
Occasional lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 25lbs; regularly standing or walking with objects 10-25lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with regular repetitive motions (such as typing); utilizing mouse, keyboard, and phone for portions of the day. Ability to travel to various locations on and off-campus for meetings.
Shift
Primarily days (i.e. Monday – Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm; 40+ hours per week) Please be aware that as an exempt position, job duties may occasionally require additional time in the evenings, nights, holidays and/or weekends to accomplish work goals in excess of 40 hours per week. Required to participate in the after-hours and Holiday on-call rotation with other network staff.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for maintenance, support and implementation of networking and infrastructure systems managed by University of Kentucky, Information Technology Services, Networking and Infrastructure. This includes network devices, security devices, and all supporting systems including monitoring and logging systems. This position supports functions critical to the operation of the University.

MS Windows and Office Suite. Customer service experience.

Bachelor’s Degree / 1 year paid network experience.
