What we do

The Quality team is part of the Manufacturing organization which is responsible for driving continuous improvement practices of our systems' performance. Our quality team ensures that the products and processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability. Their primary focus is to maintain consistency in the production of robots and automated systems that meet customer requirements and comply with industry standards. The quality team collaborates closely with various departments to ensure that quality is integrated throughout the entire product development and manufacturing lifecycle.

What you'll do

  • Plan, execute, and monitor quality activities, establishing rigorous standards to prevent quality issues and ensure that any changes in supply are carefully reviewed and validated.
  • Support high standards in supplier quality and ensure all processes align with company and industry requirements.
  • Adhere to the tiered validation processes for supplier materials and components, adjusting the level of validation based on supply changes, risk assessments, and critical quality requirements.
  • Use root cause methodologies to assess failures and develop corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor manufacturing quality activities, provide regular performance updates through dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reports.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Keen attention to detail, particularly in managing and tracking multiple levels of validation for varying supplier materials.
  • Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification is a plus, along with a solid understanding of statistical process control and quality metrics.
