Registered Nurse (RN) and must advance on UKHC Nursing Professional Advancement (NPA) within 6 months of hire and annual resubmission required throughout employment in this job title.
Physical Requirements
The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds on a daily basis; as well as stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments.

Job Summary
The Markey Cancer Center Infusion department at UKHC is currently seeking a Nurse Team Leader with primary patient care duties in adult Ambulatory Chemotherapy and Infusion.
This position will work closely with the Nurse Manager, Practice Manager, and Medical Director to oversee the daily activities of the oncology infusion department, provide continuity of care, maintain appropriate staffing and scheduling, implement quality improvement measures, and ensure patient safety standard adherence.
At least 1 year of adult chemotherapy administration experience is required.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Basic computer knowledge, MS Windows, Word, Outlook, clinical applications. Supervisory experience, detail oriented.
