Job Summary about the area and the role:
Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (WTS) is a worldwide leader in water recovery,

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Manufacturing Plant Buyer to join our
Sourcing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing within a
chemical manufacturing environment, with proficient knowledge of relevant SAP Material
Management (MM) inventory planning modules. Familiarity with the relevant transaction
codes (T-codes) in SAP is essential for efficient and effective fulfillment, management, and
planning of materials and inventory.
You will interact with Supply Chain and Operation Planning, Plant Production, Logistics,
Category Management, Material and Product Management, Sourcing, Quality Assurance,
Accounts Payable, and Suppliers to help support production activities and schedules.
You will be responsible for Purchase Orders and their contents from the moment they are
issued until they are closed out i.e. setting contract terms, maintaining Outline Agreements, order confirmation, expediting deliveries, maintaining accurate delivery dates in SAP, Coordinating with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and Logistics, Accounts Payable for resolving any payment issues to the supplier, financial tracking of costs recognition, and any other tasks as assigned by the manager.

local plant and warehouse teams, senior management and develop strong
relationships with Suppliers
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large amounts of data for inventory
planning.
Self-governed and motivated to perform tasks within established guidelines
Duties & Responsibilities
PO creation, and interface with Suppliers to ensure PO is received/acknowledged
and ship date is met including but not limited to expediting, rescheduling pull ins and
push outs.
Manage and monitor all transactional procurement activities through SAP, utilizing
the appropriate modules/T-codes for various procurement tasks.
Ensure planned ship date aligns with production needs and expedite with Suppliers,
Logistics, Category, Supply Chain where needed to improve delivery.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders team to fulfill inventory needs,
plan and forecast demand, maintain optimal stock levels, to support continuous
production and overall plant process improvement.
Follow-up/Expedite with Suppliers in an organized and timely fashion and comply
with documentation requirements and material deliveries.
Manage Quarterly Price Adjustments, maintain Outline Agreements and ensure
Master Data is accurate.
Invoice resolution with Supplier and Accounts Payable as needed.

Education & Experience
Required:
Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in an applicable or related field to
/Sourcing/Procurement/Supply Chain/ Business Administration
5-7 years minimum experience in increasing roles in purchasing, expediting or supply
chain.
