Physical Requirements
Issue citations; work outside; deal with upset customers; walk and stand for long periods of time; use a two-way radio; operate a hand-held ticket writer; lift up to 20 lbs; provide customer service; follow written and verbal directions; and provide instructions and directions.
Shift
Monday – Friday 40 hours/week; 2nd Shift (2:15 pm to 11:15 pm); and some weekends and holidays with occasional overtime.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Transportation Services Manager Assistant, the Assistant Shift Leader provides leadership and assists with supervision for a designated portion of the parking enforcement and attendant booth operations. The parking control Assistant Shift Leader is responsible for efficient and effective delivery of services and maintaining a positive customer service environment. This position oversees and provides training, coaching and guidance to enforcement senior attendants and parking control attendants as well as enforces university and departmental regulations, policies, and standards, in addition to other duties as assigned. The Assistant Shift Leader is specifically responsible for the supervision of campus/UKHC parking operations and personnel.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Microsoft Excel, Word, T2 Systems FLEX software, Hand-held Ticket Writers, and Outlook.

Preferred Education/Experience
Experience with T2 Systems Flex Software and Hand-held Ticket writers. Also prefer supervisory experience and highly desire candidates with a valid drivers license and the ability to drive.
Associate’s + 2 year preferred.
