NASCAR Event Management seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Part Time Official Modified for NASCAR’s Whelen Modified Tour.

The Part Time Official Modified position will implement and apply appropriate pit road and race procedures at race events.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Implement and apply the appropriate pit road and race procedures in a consistent, timely and professional manner.
  • Establish and maintain proper communications with the assigned crew chief(s) and / or Race Control as required.
  • Properly execute and confirm any directive from Race Control.
  • Responsible for securing equipment (e.g. binoculars, watch, flags, radios) for duties assigned and for performing routine checks on same.

Required Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Customer service, people skills, represent Company. 
  • Proficient at using computers.
