Shift
On-call Position available is 12.5 hour shifts. Work 3 shifts, off 4 shifts
Shift available:
6:45p to 7:15a Thursday, Friday and Saturday
Hires will be cross-trained for Chandler, Good Samaritan and EmPATH ED Registration areas.
Training will be Monday – Friday (4-6 weeks) from 9a-5p.
On-call staff may have the opportunity to advance to a full time position if desired. On-call positions is a great way to get your foot in the door at UKHC ED Registration Department. Possibilities are unlimited.
Job Summary
Position includes the following:
- Arriving and Updating/Registration of Emergency Department patients
-Copay/payment collection at time of service
-Customer Service
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
High level of keyboarding accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to maintain calm during stressful situations and provide excellent customer service. Ability to effectively prioritize work. Must have schedule flexibility.

Preferred Education/Experience
Prior patient registration experience preferred. Customer service background such as retail, call center, hospitality, etc., also very helpful.
