Job Summary

The Patient Relations Assistant will be responsible for scheduling of Diagnostic Radiology exams, pre-certifications, and confirming all necessary information needed to properly perform and identify billing information needed to maintain compliance with institutional, state and federal practices. This position will provide a professional point of contact, and serve as a liaison to Radiology and all referring offices.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

The ideal candidate will be skilled in communication, specifically in the ability to remain calm and helpful during emotionally stressful moments or crises. As someone responsible for employee records, attention to detail is critical to ensuring patient record accuracy. The ability to work in a collaborative environment with a teamwork mindset. The ability to follow processes and process data entry records. Respect for confidentiality; be able to prioritize tasks efficiently; and work in multiple systems simultaneously.
