Description

This is a full-time LPN position with the Bulloch Adult Health Clinic located in Statesboro (Bulloch County), GA.

Job Responsibilities

Under supervision, delivers nursing services at a Ryan White center dedicated to supporting individuals with HIV/AIDS and their families. Performs laboratory tasks, including specimen collection, preparation, and shipping.  Conducts patient assessments, administers immunizations, and promptly reports any drug reactions.  Manages inventory of clinical supplies and medication for the clinic. Ensures proper vaccine storage and handling.  Also responsible for cleaning and restocking exam rooms and laboratory. Conducts emergency drills and quality checks for equipment, drugs, immunizations, nutrition supplements, and testing supplies.  

Minimum Qualifications

Vocational/Technical degree in licensed practical nursing from an accredited college AND current Georgia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse AND CPR certification AND completion of all necessary orientation and training for Public Health LPN. No experience required.
 
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with the following: Public Health; Working with HIV/AIDS patients; 6 months psychiatric experience; Interviewing patients; Computer skills.
