Job Responsibilities
Supervise and provide leadership to assigned staff at HIV care centers. Provides professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies and/or procedures. Responsible for QI plan/initiatives, daily operations, staffing and manage support for MD/APRN. Oversight for Immunization program, lab services, data management for HRSA deliverables.
Min starting salary-$74,758.00
1. Manages and supervises assigned staff to include performance management, clinic staffing, etc
2. Assess and evaluate client care, clinic flow and staff efficiency, while providing quality client care
3. Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate client care plans
4. Observes clinic staff to ensure that proper care is provided
5. Provides professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies and/or procedures.
6. Focuses on the prevention of illness, injury, or disability, the promotion of health and maintenance of the health of populations.
7. Cares for population with special needs during disasters/emergencies and biological and chemical protocols.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university AND Two years of PHN experience AND Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification OR Associate's degree/diploma in Nursing from an accredited college AND Three years of PHN experience AND Completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least two years of previous RN experience in an outpatient HIV/AIDS treatment setting. Two or more years of experience as a Nurse Supervisor.
