Role Summary:
Are you a proactive problem solver with analytical skills and a love of applying knowledge to real world situations? As a Policy Illustration Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our team, collaborating with agents and internal partners to create and refine inforce illustrations for whole life, universal life and indexed universal life policies. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our clients’ financial futures by crafting tailored insurance solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Designing Solutions: Use our proprietary and third-party illustration systems to craft tailored case design recommendations.
- Understanding Needs: Leverage your communication skills to identify and address clients' specific needs when creating life insurance quotes.
- Managing Requests: Handle illustration requests efficiently, collaborating with both internal and external customers.
- Support financial advisors and agents: Provide education and support for agent queries.
- Stay updated with the latest life insurance products and regulatory changes.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of company products and processes
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in a professional service industry.
- Ability to execute routine problem-solving skills within a defined framework.
- Aptitude for building strong relationships and contribute to the overall success of the team.
- Detailed oriented balanced with the need to execute on deliverables on time
- Exhibits independent problem solving and decision-making skills balanced with collaboration with team members when appropriate
- Ability to understand complex concepts and simplify them in both verbal and written communication to our customers
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- This position is presently onsite/hybrid with the expectation that you are in the office three days per week with current campus days being Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (subject to change with advance notification and manager discretion).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years experience in the Life Insurance or Financial Services Industry
