Job Description
The Production Manager for Membrane Assets provides direction to motivate and engage the membrane department to work safely and efficiently to reduce cycle time and produce a quality product. In this role you will focus on process improvement to manage the inputs and outputs to deliver increased efficiency, quality and cost.

• Lead and develop a team responsible for servicing, maintaining, and preparing mobile
membrane water treatment units returning from and going to clients.
• Develop and implement process flow procedures to manage inputs and outputs
(scheduling, ordering, materials, staffing) effectively.
• Maintain high team morale, employee involvement, and safety standards while
accomplishing departmental goals.
• Implement strategies to reduce cycle times and improve quality, service, and safety.
• Track, trend, and reduce product defects through root cause analysis and continuous
improvement methods.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide direction to motivate and engage the membrane department to work safely and
efficiently, focusing on process improvement to reduce cycle time, enhance quality, and
optimize costs.
• Drive daily schedule attainment to meet all internal and external customer
commitments with top quality at the lowest cost.
• Work cross-functionally to support membrane product delivery and collaborate with
Engineering and Controls on new product development, ensuring serviceability.
• Contribute to the development of training courses for new and updated products.
• Interact with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to ensure new equipment meets
specifications.
• Improve new product process flow and delivery to capture technical knowledge and
best practices.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive training program to enhance the membrane
team's skills and knowledge.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Capability to read and interpret technical manuals, procedures, and regulations
• Proficiency in writing reports and basic mathematics
• Capability to manage contract resources
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
• Experience with RO, UF, EDI membrane operation and maintenance
• Knowledge of PLC Logic and controls
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Required:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Prior leadership experience required
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to handle repetitive weight up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions
• Background in maintenance, controls, or operational troubleshooting
• Associate's Degree in electrical, industrial/mechanical engineering, or water treatment
• Six Sigma certification
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Ability to build and lead a team through change
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work without direct supervision
• Strong understanding of business processes in a service environment
Additional Information
• Ability and willingness to complete occasional site assignments for customer troubleshooting, operation and installation.
• Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manual dexterity
• Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities
