Job Summary
As the Insurance Enrollment Team Lead at our clinic, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the insurance and grant enrollment processes for patients.
You will lead the team’s efforts in verifying patient insurance coverage, explaining benefits, and ensuring accurate enrollment in various insurance plans and grants.
Your role will involve collaborating closely with healthcare providers and administrative staff to streamline enrollment procedures, resolve enrollment and payment issues, and optimize the enrollment experience for patients. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Ryan White grant programs and the Kentucky Department for Public Health to ensure timely payment of insurance premiums. Staying updated on insurance regulations and guidelines, you will address insurance-related inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Furthermore, you will supervise enrollment and eligibility staff who assist patients with enrollment into various grant programs and financial assistance, leveraging your leadership, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively within a healthcare team to ensure a smooth insurance enrollment process and efficient operations at our clinic. As the Insurance and Enrollment lead, you will serve as a member of the Ryan White Program’s leadership, and collaborate with work units, departments, and community agencies to ensure successful program outcomes.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Microsoft Windows, Excel, Comprehensive knowledge of health insurance.

Preferred Education/Experience
MA in Sociology, psychology, human development, family studies, or social work; experience in insurance verification, enrollment, Medicaid, Medicare, marketplace coverage.
