Replacement Substitute Special Education Teacher

Qualifications:
NJ Teacher Handicapped Certification 
OR NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities w/  NJ Middle School with Subject Matter Specialization: English Language Arts in Grades 5 - 8
Ability to implement IEP's, monitor goals, track progress and write new goals 
Knowledge of NJ Standards for English Language Arts 
Strong classroom management skill and experience with positive behavior supports 
Extra duties as assigned by the building Principal 
  Replacement Substitute Teacher Assignment through December 2, 2024.
   All alternate route candidates (“Certificate of Eligibility) must show completion of 50 hours of pre-service training through a DOE approved CE educator program prior to being interviewed for a position. The certificate of completion must be uploaded into the AppliTrack portal in order for alternate route candidates to be considered. It explicitly prohibits such employers from hiring a person serving in a position which involves regular contact with students unless the employer conducts a review of the employment history of the applicant by contacting former and current employers and requesting information regarding child abuse and sexual misconduct allegations.
