Job Summary
The College of Public Health is seeking a Research Director. This position will provide essential strategic planning and oversight of the college research portfolio and leadership to ensure optimal processes are implemented to support faculty and staff research endeavors. Responsibilities include strategic planning and oversight of college research, communicating with external partners to broaden the colleges research impact in the community, educate faculty/staff on University processes necessary for optimally managing research projects, fostering cohesiveness among college staff involved in research to ensure people and teams work together effectively, and work with study teams to obtain and analyze study data to meet project goals. Provide regular and ad hoc reporting and updates to ensure successful and timely attainment of CPH strategic goals, monitor trends, and inform decision making.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Candidates must possess strong grant management skill set, have extensive experience in grant management compliance and reporting, excellent collaboration, communication(oral & written), initiative, decision-making, emotional intelligence, and relationship management abilities. Candidates must also possess a high level of integrity and a strong work ethic
