Job Responsibilities
Under supervision, delivers nursing services at a Ryan White center dedicated to supporting individuals with HIV/AIDS and their families. Performs laboratory tasks, including specimen collection, preparation, and shipping. Ensures proper vaccine storage and handling. Conducts patient assessments, administers immunizations, and promptly reports any drug reactions. Manages inventory of clinical supplies and medication for the clinic. Also responsible for cleaning and restocking exam rooms and the laboratory. Provides comprehensive Case Management services, including medical referrals, social support, and devises tailored care plans based on assessments. Facilitates medication access through various assistance programs. Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, proficient at multitasking and time management.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree/diploma in nursing from an accredited college AND Completion of a PHN Course within one year of hire AND Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Bilingual-Spanish. Completion of a bachelor’s degree in nursing. One year of experience as a registered professional nurse. Experience working with HIV/AIDS patients. Experience performing venipunctures and collecting other lab specimens.
