We’re looking for an innovative sales professional to join our team as our Season Sales Account Executive.In this role, you will meet and exceedrevenue goals through face-to-face sales appointments with local businesses, selling Full, Half and Feature Pack ticket memberships, as well as suite licenses, suite rentals, and corporate group nights. Youwillalso spend a significant amount of time prospecting and networking in and out of the office.
Our ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a positive attitude and a natural ability to connect with others. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable driving sales through phone interactions and face-to-face meetings. While ticket sales experience is a plus, we’re looking for people with drive, effort, and a willingness to learn. Day-to-day:
- Generate sales by setting appointments and engagements withprospective businesses and Trail Blazers customersto produce new sales revenue.
- Use prospecting tools to self-generate new business prospects on a weekly basis.
- Meet & exceed daily effort metrics through call, email, text & appointment setting activity.
- Achieve quarterly and yearly revenue targets encompassing Season Ticket Memberships, Partial Plans, Group Tickets, Premium Seating and other Trail Blazers Ticket Packages..
- Manage current accounts to ensure execution of sales.
- Work sales and corporate partnership events in the area to support development opportunities for future sales.
- Establish relationships and working closely with Ticket Services and Ticket Operations.
- Participate in sales training sessions and pipeline meetings to develop skills and refine strategies for success.
- Answer main ticketing phone line as needed.
We’d like to hear from you if you:
- Have at least one (1) year of proven sales experience, consistently achieving and sustaining sales targets.
- Are self-motivated while exercising independence in achieving results within company guidelines and processes.
- Are highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Are a creative thinker with the ability to analyze situations and problem-solve quickly.
- Are comfortable selling five- and six-figure deals in the professional sports, collegiate sports, or entertainment industry, prior experience in this area is preferred.
- Possess an ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Are proficient in database applications such as ZoomInfo and Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Are a strong communicator; both in written form and verbally.
